Can I repartition my drive?

We do not currently allow you to custom partition the drives for your virtual server from our web interface. If you are looking to mount /tmp noexec, you can do this using a loop device.You can boot your server to LiveCD using our rescue mode, and custom partition it as you wish.


Can I run Asterisk inside a VM?

Yes, you can run Asterisk inside of a virtual server. Asterisk is a popular use case of our customers.


What kernel do you use / can I load kernel modules?

We use the default / updated kernel distributed with the latest version of your o/s image. You have full control over the kernel and can install any kernel modules that you wish.


What type of hardware will my virtual server be hosted on?

A standard physical server consists of a dual CPU Intel VT dual core 3ghz base system with 32gb of ram and hardware raid for mirroring hot-swap drives.


Can I upgrade my kernel?

Yes, you can upgrade your kernel and run any kernel you like. We do recommend you run a xen kernel for performance reasons.
