Cloud OS Breakdown

It’s been almost a year since our last post about O/S distribution used in our Cloud . You can now view a high level near-time breakdown of the O/S list.Most interesting is that we’ve seen an overall slowdown in the growth of Gentoo, with a huge (%) wise increase in customers chosing Ubuntu as their server distribution. Domain Registration Services

You can now purchase & manage your domains through our Registrar service from your Dashboard. A common request that we’ve received is for you to be able to manage all the pieces of your infrastructure from one interface. While you’ve always been able to use our DNS editor to manage your zones you previously had to update your NS at your own registrar.You can now transfer these domains to us, or register new ones directly from your interface simplyfying the process. Cloud server state enhancements

Additional VNC enhancements

Advanced xen cloud options

If you’re an experienced Xen user, or just need to tweak advanced settings for your instance with us you can no do so. Enhanced build process

We’ve released an updated build process that improves build time by 60% for all of our images. It will also automatically fallback to alternative locations if capacity isn’t available at the preferred location you select.You can also see more dynamic and detailed status updates as your instance builds to understand the process.
